As a retired forest manager and avid forest lover, Sid Watts spent his career shining a light on wood's many virtues. He even owns a woodlot and wanted to reclaim pieces of wood that he thought were too promising to end up in his fireplace. That's when he decided to teach himself how to craft wooden pens. Today, he carefully selects pieces from his log pile that reveal their hidden beauty once carved. A true work of functional art, this refillable pen is lightweight, refined, rugged enough for everyday use, and durable enough to become a cherished heirloom.
