Inspired by the symbiosis of dualities, Clarissa Long translates her vision of contrasts across her chosen material using alternative manufacturing methods. She challenges preconceived notions, prompting others to challenge their way of seeing things. She uses residual materials to breathe life into her jewellery, transforming one person's trash into another's wonderful and original treasures. Her Pebble series evokes the feeling of coming home from the beach with pockets full of collected pebbles-then, now and forever. Much like the pebbles, each earring has its own unique, carefully handcrafted shape.
