Edie and Jacquelyn Assinewe, twin sisters and members of the Sagamok Anishnawbek First Nation, were born and raised in Toronto. They combine their sculpting and modelling skills with the knowledge of Ojibwe beading techniques to create jewellery that beautifully blends creativity and avant-garde style with traditions, celebrating the rich artistic heritage of Anishnawbek culture.

These stunning earrings showcase a traditional Ojibwe floral pattern showcasing wonderfully meticulous bead work. Each pair represents up to eight hours of painstaking craftsmanship. The results are unique creations embodying the Assinewe sisters' love of Anishnawbek culture and beauty in all its forms.
