Not for fruit

I wanted to use this as a fruit bowl, but that was a bad call. I had bananas in it, and it left almost a stain-the gold finish became dull and washing it didn't help at all, and almost made it worse. Otherwise, it's absolutely adorable, but I don't recommend it if you're planning on using it for fruit/food/anything that might get wet/require washing it.

I ordered a metal plate as birthday gift for a friend. I loved the option to include a note. The metal plate unfortunately arrived with a dent in it... Maybe the packers need to quality check before shipping out an order.
