Inspired by the heritage of Maurice Bastien and Wendat Marguerite Lawinonkie Vincent, a shoe workshop pioneer since 1830, Roland Bastien founded his factory in Wendake in 1972 to make traditional moccasins. Since 2022, Jason Picard-Binet of the Huron-Wendat Nation has carried on this legacy, adding his modern twist along the way.
