I've had a pair of girlfriend leggings ever since the brand started and they gave away free pairs if we pay shipping. I got a Small at the time and absolutely LOVED them. The fabric holds up to mashing washing (delicate cycle), it doesn't pill at all, it will look brand new even after 3 years. So I decided to get a pair with pockets. Because I gained a bit of weight, I went for a size medium instead. I wish I hadn't... These are compression leggings, they are meant to be tight! So the medium I got always slips down my waist and doesn't stay put. I wish I didn't give my old pair to my friend (who went and donated them because they were too tight!!)

For reference, I'm 5'5", 140lbs average build (30 waist, 40 hips). When I first had the size small, I think I must have been 125lbs.

The reason I give 3 stars is because I went on the girlfriend website to check the sizing chart and a size medium is perfect for my measurements yet it still slides down just with regular walking. If you do have my measurements and you get a small, it is going to be very tight! But that's to point. These leggings aren't for casual wearing, they are for exercising!
