Canadian Design Personality Creates Line for Bedding, Bath and Kitchen

Quebec City, QC (September 2015) – Simons, the renowned family-owned fashion retailer, announces the launch of an exclusive home decor line with Canadian design personality Samantha Pynn. The Samantha Pynn for Simons collection offers all things beautiful in bedding, bath and kitchen textiles, and is a shortlist of things Sam loves: pretty colours, easy to mix-and-match styles and touchable textures.

“My goal with the collection is to make decorating fun,” said Samantha Pynn. “I designed each item for super-easy layering, so you’ll feel like a decor expert and your home will feel stylish in a snap. It's all about expressing your design personality with minimum effort for maximum style.”

The patterns in the collection are rooted in classics with an updated feel. There are embroideries, painterly prints, woven jacquards, and classic stripes all with Sam's trademark point of view for a look that is thoughtfully edited and beautifully designed.

The collection includes:
• Bedding: duvet covers, sheets, throws and pillows
• Bath: shower curtains, bathmats, towels and accessories
• Kitchen: tablecloths, tea towels, kitchen linens, placemats, rugs and runners

“It’s fun to work with a Canadian design talent like Sam. Her collection offers our customers a new selection of home decor that has a well-designed aesthetic,” said Peter Simons, CEO of Simons. “We look forward to launching Samantha Pynn for Simons in Vancouver at the opening of our Park Royal store.”

The Samantha Pynn for Simons collection will be available exclusively at Simons stores and online at Simons.ca in February 2016.
